Just when you thought you had made all the adjustments you needed to your Facebook timeline, Facebook goes and changes the size of the profile picture on all its pages. While it’s only a minor change (profile picture size is now 160 x 160 pixels, which is larger than the old size of 125 x 125), it has left some business profile pictures looking a bit blurry – so you may need to make a slight adjustment to your profile picture.
Also worth noting is that the new Facebook profile picture size changes the image position slightly. It now sits at 23 pixels from the left and 210 pixels from the top of the page, which means that positioning your profile image on your cover page may also need a little adjustment. I have seen some really creative ways of integrating profile pictures, and maybe this is the time to play around with your images to see if you can do the same.
Here are some great examples of creative integration.

I wasn’t aware of this latest change – and while it’s minor as you say, it still doesn’t look good for a business profile to have a blurry image. Thanks for sharing!
Very creative use of integrated images here – you’ve inspired me to see if I can do something more imaginative with my timeline
groan! more changes! groan!
Thanks for letting us know about this change, Marie. It pays to stay on top of things.
any way to get rid of the blur?
Hi Emma, did you try uploading a new profile picture with the new dimensions?
